What is CrushU?
CrushU is an online dating experience exclusively for college students at a specific school. Students can finally initiate double dates with their wingmen and make online dating fun!
What makes CrushU special?
CrushU is the first dating site made by college students for college students. The truth is that it’s not easy to meet everyone at your college. People get comfortable in their respective cliques and rarely branch out. CrushU finally makes it cool to use online dating and we offer unique features found nowhere else!
Is CrushU the same thing as Facebooktm?
No! We love Facebook and we wish them the best. We are something completely different and urge you to keep your Facebook account. CrushU is ALL about dating/hooking up/finding someone special. That’s it. The only reason to log on to CrushU is to find someone your attracted to. Easy as that.
Who is behind this website?
Two recent college graduates who never would have used an online dating site. But CrushU changes all that. We felt it was time to take hooking up and dating out of the frat scene and give students more options.

How can I be sure that only College students are on CrushU?
Students can only register using their college email addresses at the moment. This ensures that those who register are indeed college students.

Can I invite friends or buddies?
To invite more friends, use the following steps:
Select the "My School" link at the top of the page.
Click "Invite My Friends" from the left side of the page.
A new window will open up which allows different options to invite friends i.e. either you can import your contacts from different address books (like Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc) or you can provide email addresses of your friends to invite them to CrushU.com.
How to search for buddies in your school
Select the "Advanced Search" link at the top of the page.
Select "Browse People" link from the submenu.
Can I invite people that aren't from my College?
No, we created CrushU for each specific college because our main focus is dating not merely making friends.

CrushList
Does someone know when I add them to my CrushList?
No! Your CrushList is completely confidential.
How does the CrushList work?
You list people you would consider getting to know better. If they list you as well, we’ll notify the two of you. There is no risk of rejection because you already know the other person is interested.
Hotties
Does someone know when I add them to my “Hotties”?
No! It just your secret list to keep track of all the “Hotties” you find.
Buddies
How are Buddies on CrushU different?
CrushU is not about making friends. The only reason we have Buddies is so people can search for potential dates/matches by searching through other people’s “Buddies” List. If you find somebody that interests you, at least you know somebody in common to make initiating contact somewhat easier.
Wingmen
What are Wingmen?
Wingmen introduces double dating to online dating. You are allowed to designate up to four of your Buddies to be part of your exclusive Wingmen team. Once you designate your wingmen, you can initiate double dates and messages as a tag team. When you find somebody who tickles your fancy, click on their “View Wingmen” tab, and see if there are any potential double date possibilities. With CrushU’s Wingmen, you’re never going at it alone!
How do I add Wingmen?
Go to your Buddies list and click the “Add to Wingmen” button. You can view your current Wingmen by clicking the drop down menu in the Buddies list and choose “view current Wingmen.”
CrushRating and Matchmaker
How does the rating system work?
As you’re browsing, feel free to rate anyone you want. The more hearts the hotter you think they are.
Can people find out my rating?
No! The rating system is completely confidential. It is only used for our MatchMaking feature.
How does the MatchMaking feature work?
We match you up with people who are rated within 1 heart of your rating. We then send out weekly emails with your matches. It is a “smart” matching system to improve the likelihood of success.

Can I make an announcement to my school?
Sure! For just $10 a day you can have a prominent advertisement on CrushU’s home page. Please go here to submit an announcement.
